Built upon the dedication of healthcare professionals and as one of the largest employers in Western Michigan, the new Corewell Health headquarters aims to transform disconnected workplaces into a centralized campus. This ambitious project starts with renovating the historic Brass Works Building and constructing a new office building, featuring a 500-seat event space, a large stairway, an innovation and learning space, a welcome center, a fitness center, a cafe, and diverse workplace environments.
The project seeks to cultivate a new workplace culture, enhancing daily operations and increasing synergy across departments. The design team conducted extensive outreach, interviewing staff from various departments and touring potential sites. By redefining workplace hierarchy and functionality, the project aims to support the healthcare professionals who are the backbone of Corewell Health. Fostering a vibrant, interconnected campus, Corewell Health is building a future that promotes innovation, community, and excellence in healthcare.
